3 Best Mail Service Providers

Hi, There Guys!

Introducing You to the 3rd Blog of My Life! This time it is going to be very short as I heard a few of my friends complaining to be lazy in reading the whole Blog.

This Blog is about 3 giant mailing websites known all over the World!
1 – Hotmail.com
2 – Yahoomail.com
3 – Gmail.com

Hotmail.com / Outlook.com

Hotmail.com known as Outlook.com since July 31, 2012; is a mail site owned by Microsoft. It is said that it was founded by An Indian Named Sabeer Bhatia with Jack Smith in 1996. Hotmail was later on sold to Microsoft in December 1997 for $400 Million. Later on, encountering the bugs on the Hotmail website they started making it more & more secure & strong & made it one of the most secure websites. Hotmail offers Sky Drive, Skype Account Accessibility via Hotmail Account, MSN News, & various other Microsoft Benefits. Generally, People use Outlook.com more for business rather than personal use. Outlook.com is a FREE web-based email Service. Outlook supports IMAP & POP (with no additional cost) to use mail on iPhone & Other Smartphone.

Cons:
It is slow compared to Yahoomail.com in loading and Processing.
Outlook.com still has many bugs while viewing it via mobile especially via iPhone.
Outlook.com is easy to use via web browser on Desktop but hard to even log in via web browser on Phone.
Lots of spam emails daily.
Mail Attachment Limit – 10 MB Per Mail.
Though it is told safe but feels a little unsafe to me for a business account.
Limited amount of Colors supported in the theme menu. Due to this, it does not look much attractive sometimes.

Yahoomail.com

Yahoomail.com is a mail site owned by Yahoo Inc., California, a United States-based company well known for Web Portal & Yahoo Search Engine. Yahoo is popular for its amazingly fast and precise mailing system. Yahoo is very famous for its Search Engine, Simple to Use Interface, Yahoo Messenger, Amazing Mail Shortcuts, faster response time, Yahoo News, Yahoo Finance, Yahoo Answers, Flickr & Many other easy to manage features. Spam-Mails are less in Yahoo Compared to Hotmail. Yahoo also offers Domain Addresses for business-related websites. Yahoo has an exciting way of managing folders. Yahoo gives cloud storage size up to 1TB per account*. Yahoomail.com is a FREE web-based email Service. Yahoo supports IMAP & POP (with no additional cost) to use mail on iPhone & Other Smartphone. Yahoomail.com supports various attractive designer themes on the main page.

Cons:
Yahoo has a mail attachment size limitation – 25MB Per Mail.
Yahoo gives cloud storage size up to 1TB per account Only to New Users Right Now
Yahoo has problems with mail addresses like xyz@yahoo.co.inxyz@yahoo.comxyz@yahoo.in are 3 different mail IDs'. The person won’t receive the mail if you write xyz@yahoo.co.in instead of xyz@yahoo.in.
Yahoomail.com has problems receiving mail sometimes from the non-yahoo sender.

Gmail.com

Gmail.com is a mail site owned and powered by Google Inc. It is one of the most popular websites known all over the world. Gmail is popular for its amazing amount of features! Gmail offers 10GB of Storage space including Google Drive. With a Gmail account, you can easily access all Google features like Blogger, Amazing Chrome Access, YouTube, Hangout, Google+, Google Play Store (Android Devices), Google Calendar, Google Maps & various more amazing features which are very helpful in our day-to-day life! Google also offers domain addresses for corporate World/Business, so that is also much beneficial for a company that totally operates a business on mails. Gmail.com is a FREE web-based email Service. Gmail supports IMAP & POP (with no additional cost) to use mail on iPhone & Other Smartphone. Google feels to be Most Secured site for business purposes with a wide range of facilities. The Sorting done in Google mails for Inbox, Promotions, Social Network is really a genius idea by Google, which works amazingly! It almost decreases Spam and all other Junk Mails. Google has very rare or Near to Nil Spam Mails. Moreover, Google with Google+ gives us a wide range to explore our business and even find our lost friends, like Facebook or Twitter. Gmail Supports Various Designer Themes. Google has an option for Slow Speed Viewers to open with lesser features.

Cons:
Google has a mail attachment size limitation – 25MB Per Mail.
Takes a little long while loading mails compared to Yahoomail.com
The Settings menu doesn’t seem attractive and easy.

So if I need to suggest which is the best mailing website for all purposes I would select Gmail as it solves all the problems and is helpful in many ways. 2nd Preference would be Yahoo & then Hotmail.

But it is always good to choose from well-known sites as they would never close down their mailing features. They would always keep on upgrading themselves with newer and better features.

I had an in.com mail account. The site was powered by Viacom18 Group. It came in with the idea of providing the shortest mail ID (“xyz@in.com”) & also with the idea of Future Mail. Future Mail in starting was like something new and exciting in the field of Mails. It was really an amazing Feature! I used it many times but as time went on the craze decreased. Later on, by luck, I started using it as an unnecessary extra mail address. I just used to check mails on it every 15 days and gave the in.com mail address at weird sites that needed registration. Due to which I don’t receive spam emails on my main mail account. Just a little time ago in March 2015, mail.in.com was closed down. I had lost many of my mail in folders as they deleted the mails before I could download them. I was notified that it is going to shut down almost 4 months before and I was trying to look at my files but they already had deleted them. Moreover, when I asked them for support they didn’t reply to me. But as I said, I used it as an extra Mail ID the loss did not bother me much. But this scenario taught me that never keep your main account with a website that is not much familiar or a site which is not much famous. As you never know how safe the site is or when can it suddenly shutdown!

So this was a real-life example of why I prefer to choose popular websites rather than any non-popular website.

“ Choose Wisely ”
